Bottoming out with Tanabe's?

I was out and about the other day with 2 friends, one friend was in the back passenger side.. I was going about 35mph on a side road and hit a bit os a dip, not a big one either, and heard a loud thump under the back seat on the passenger side. She said she felt under her butt. She's isn't a big woman either, maybe 130 lbs.

Has anyone with a lowered car encountered this?
Was it a bottoming out? It's hard to tell.. I haven't been able to re-create riding by myself

I"ve never experienced that before on my car after lowering.

Now I am wondering what the heck that sound was. .. questions run through my mind such as" What did the shop that installed the springs do or not do?"

I have not experienced anything like that either in the rear. Just took my 1st highway trip to the bay area and back, with my wife, baby and luggage. I didn't rub in the rear one time, and the 580/880 are no longer the nicest highways so I hit some solid dips at 75 mph or so. And you are still on stock wheels right? Hope it was just a fluke.

^ Thanks. It almost sounded like a pop like something slipping into place, maybe the installer ddin't line things up right. I'll have anothe rshop take a look at it.. possibly when I get my new tires/wheels.

Yes, I am running stock wheels for now
