There are no adjustments that can be made in the rear height sensor. On the GS3 and IS2 near the dog bone joint is connected to there is a slot that allow us to make some minor adjustments. On our 4th gen GS there is none. The tech thinks it is electronic adjustment so he is going to research more before I bring the car back to do the alignment when I get the 20" wheels installed in a couple of weeks.
Following are the photos of the rear height sensor on the 4th Gen GS. As you can see there are no adjustments. Photos are taken with wheels off (had a flat on the rear driver side). Don't have a lift or ramp that will put load on the suspension to show actual sensor position.
after reading your review, i think it might be more wise to go with the coilvers since you say its too soft.. decisions decisions, dont know if i want to drop so much on it,,, i love the way it drives stock.. do you think its too soft?
I don't think he said its "too soft" if anything it seems as though he complained about it being too firm.
Not sure. Not going to play around with it myself. Dealer tech is going to try to figure it out. I will ask them to try it out when I have my car aligned.
Look at post #37 on your link and compare to the photo I provided of the sensor. On the 4th Gen GS there is no slot to allow any sliding adjustment. The 4th Gen sensor setup is different.
Yes we don't have the sliding thing but if u look further up the post it seems you can unbolt at the sensor and adjust it from there, then tighten the bolt. The angles may be wrong but the sensor is reset.
That thread looks like a procedure on how to remove the sensor and troubleshoot it for proper operation indications and not how to adjust the ride height.
got my rsr springs installed over the weekend and have the same issue with the headlight leveling slightly pointing down
sorry for the crappy phone pic.. i'll try to post better ones later
Looks great, are those Down or Super Down?
Really odd in regards to the headlights, our car is dumped on RS*R coilovers, probably 2.5 inches and we don't have any headlight issues. Thanks for all the updates.
