I didn't see any other threads about lowering an AWD version of the GS350. I went ahead and ordered the tanabe nf210 lowering springs made for the RWD version and put them on my AWD model. I had an alignment done at the same time as installing the springs. I've driven about 15 miles on them and there aren't any problems yet. No wobbling or shaking that I can tell. Ride is slightly more stiff than stock but still very comfortable. The car might settle a little bit as I drive it more so it might get lower. Here are a couple pictures I took took while filling up at the gas station. Sorry about the dirty car and crappy iphone pictures.

I wonder if these springs can aslo be used on Luxury AWD models...

Do you have any before pictures? So that we could see how much it dropped? Naturally AWD's sit higher than RWD models

Very nice!! I have to give you credit for being the first one with AWD to do this!! Let me know how the car rides and feel when the springs settle (few hundred miles). I hope the ride is not too stiff over the standard one since its suppose to ride like stock.

Shouldnt you wait until the springs settle before you get a alignment or does it matter?

You should take a further back picture of the whole car, and also a before pic. nice let us know if it gets any lower, I might go this route.

I usually wait a good week before aligning the car after dropping it, all springs settle. I would recommend having it rechecked after 500 miles.

I'll see if I can find some before pictures and also take some better pictures of the car. I'm probably going to have another alignment done in a couple weeks, I wasn't sure if alignment would affect the wobbling/vibrations so I decided to do one right after lowering.

At a stoplight do you feel any vibrations?

I don't notice vibrations at stoplights. If there is any vibrations its so slight I can't tell the difference from stock. But that may change as the car settles over the next couple weeks. I'll keep you posted of any changes.

nice conservative drop.,looks good. the wheels look like they need to be pushed out a little with spacers, especially the back wheels. does anyone know if spacers compromise the ride quality? and oh yeah... she needs a bath.

Are you going to do the f-sport springs or go for the tanabe? Sewell shows the f-sport spings coming in April..... Let me know. I am still hestitant to do it on my AWD but those pics show how nice it looks now.

IDK, i'm still on the fence Rex. i want to wait for the F Sport springs, although i have a feeling that they will be for RWD, and the AWD will have to wait yet again. i'm looking at Tanabe and H&R. i'm leaning more towards waiting for the F Spot springs. i'm going to research the Tanabes some more and give them a call and ask 1 million questions. with a guarantee. if i'm not satisfied after the call then i'll wait on the F Sport springs.

i'm far from patient dj... i'm ready to pop. this is ridiculous. i guess they don't want our money. i can see the AWD springs being pushed back because Lexus doesn't want a gazillion GS owners coming back again and again because the springs are causing problems, so if they're fine tuning (if you will) the AWD springs and doing numerous tests then that's understandable. but there are no springs for RWD either.

I'm definitely not a patient person, I ordered these springs when the car had less than 500 miles. Lol Couldn't stand the ride height. I'm skeptical Lexus will ever offer lowering springs for the AWD model. If they ever do come out with them I'll switch over to those.
