06 GS430+BC Coilovers+Custom bags? HELP!
Lost to the core..... Was wondering if anyone used BC Coilovers with some UAS bags? I have the rest of the parts already, just need to mate the BC Coilovers with something first  If anyone can help, it'd be greatly appreciated

awesome! now I know what I have to look forward to in the installation lol.... I'll definitely adjust the BC coilvers with the bags first and see where to go from there.

Im on megans with UAS. My car is an AWD tho. For the rears i did have to shorten the rear coilovers so the airbag can sit on the bottom of the coilover then create an extender for the top of the coilover so it would be long enough to bolt up to the car. I believe its going to be the same for you. The fronts were just a straight swap. again my car is an AWD and im not sure if its going to be the same for you RWD and BCs.

yes the rear will be the same and need to be cut down
|
can you guys explain what you mean? I already ordered my BC coilovers and it should be here first thing monday :(
|
PM me your email and ill send some photos that i recieved from a member on CL..its much easier to see what im talking about than explaining it in text
|
BC Coilovers came home, now to decide on what bags to purchase
|
So i got into contact with UAS, hopefully they can fabricate me up some custom bags :)
|
they can but you will likely have to send them your suspension
|
ohh, they just told me to measure up my suspension, as of right now i'm measuring up everything and sending off the email tomorrow.... hopefully they can do this without any hassle :-/
If all goes well i'll start forwarding specs to u guys :) |
In case anyone was wondering, my BC coilovers will be sent to UAS to get remodified. Afterwards all I'll need is the tank and module setup :)

AHHH! They finally came home! PICS PICS PICS!
The goods have come home! All safe and sound when I arrived home. (No pictures of packaging because I was too excited so i pretty much blew up the whole box and tore straight into the parts like it was x-mas eve!). Packaging made by UAS was the best I've seen in years, everything was separated, not one single scratch on any of the suspension pieces! They've even painted the shocks after re-welding to match with everything. HUGE props to Mike from Original Garage. I luckily found him after i stumbled upon VSC forums. http://i40.tinypic.com/5owlqv.jpg Below are the old parts that originally came with the BC Coilovers. http://i41.tinypic.com/fbxhy0.jpg The new pieces! http://i41.tinypic.com/nzm05e.jpg Front Shocks were unmodified. http://i44.tinypic.com/eqnkhl.jpg Only the Top-hats were replaced (if that's what you call them, you can see the difference between the new ones, and the old ones in gold in the first picture). http://i41.tinypic.com/wmfsky.jpg Here are the bottom of the rear shocks that had to be rewelded. http://i41.tinypic.com/2unulb6.jpg Here are the top half of the rear shocks (it's sort of an adaptor so that the bags sit properly in the rear). http://i43.tinypic.com/24np64x.jpg And Last but not least, the bags! http://i43.tinypic.com/1zv4fmp.jpg |
I'm still waiting for the rest of the air suspension setup (tanks, valves, etc. etc.), that will come later on when I can finish saving up for the rest of the project :)
