Spec'ing out GS350 AWD

I'm new to this forum and hopefully I'm not posting in the wrong place. I'm looking for some advice on spec'ing out a GS350 AWD to get the best handling for the buck. I'm currently driving an '04 TL with 6 speed maual and wanted to get an auto AWD car. The TL is practical and quick but not a lot of fun on winding roads due to the FWD. I've looked at the Audi A4 (it would be 45k by the time I optioned it the way I wanted it) and am seriously conssidering an S4 but it would be $55k by the time I finished. The GS350 is very appealing for its quality and performance, but the handling seemed a bit uninspiring on the RWD base model that I test drove (the dealer had no AWD for me to drive). I was wondering what folks would recommend (Adaptive suspension, sway bars etc) to improve this if I ordered one.

thanks for any advice.

if you are willing to change the springs and shocks on AWD, plz see the post below "GS AWD (lowered suspension data)". there are very limited aftermarket products supporting AWD model.

Thanks, I'll do that. Is the "Adaptive suspension" option worth it if you don't want to do springs?

adaptive variable suspension is basically an adjustment in the shock dampening. it's an option on gs350 but it's a very very rare option. i have only seen one car with that so far. if you get a gs350 with that option, you can lower with springs and won't affect the feature. but if you change the shock, then you will lose that feature.

imho, the difference with avs is pretty minimal, i won't call it very noticeable
