I'm curious, does anyone know what the final tally of the f-sport sway bar noise poll is... I know 12 GS owners reported "NO NOISE WHATSOEVER" but some stated that the noise showed up a few weeks later. I think passnu2 was one of the lucky ones, but is not the norm.

In passnu2's pictures it appears that the bracket that wraps around the bushing is tighter, and as he stated there is no gaps between the sway bar stop and the bushing.

It would be interesting if we could get slk_dds to post some pictures of the "new" bushing installed in the brackets.

It's been about 2 months since my f-sport installation and now I have major knocking and creaking over any uneven surfaces. It was good the first month and now it seems that my bushings have shrank and are causing contact noises. MAJOR FAIL!! we need the new updated bushings...

I think it may be a variation in the spec/part. I did some research on this site:

hXXp://www.*******.com/parts/q.html

And found that there are two variations in the stock bracket and bushings (at least part numbers).

VIN numbers that start with:
JTHCH96S 3.0L
JTHCE96S 3.5L

Use stock parts with a part number of:
48824-30140 for Brackets and;
48815-30561 for Bushings

VIN numbers that start with:
JTHBH96S 3.0L
JTHBE96S 3.5L
JTHBN96S 4.3L

Use stock parts with a part number of:
48824-30130 for Brackets and;
48815-30570 for Bushings

What's wierd is that passnu2's GS430 (assuming his vin falls in, as shown above) uses the same stock part numbers as mine (my VIN falls in JTHBE96S). His is quiet and mine knocks.

FYI: For the front f-sport sway bar, we reuse the stock brackets with the new bushing for installation.

Yeah, I don't recall if Sewell asked for my VIN, when I ordered, but Darrel pm'ed me asking for my VIN when we started complaining back in July 2009.

The thing is, I wonder if Lexus, or whomever designed the f-sport sway bars took into account the different part numbers (if, infact the stock parts are physically different)... Since we reuse our stock front sway bar brackets to install the f-sport sway bar, that may be a problem... Just speculating.
