HUGE shout out to Darrel at Sewell Lexus for all his emails and help. Darrel was sending me emails on SUNDAY!!! Yes SUNDAY!!!!

So I replaced all end-links and nuts. Did not reuse any of the parts and not sure if this helped or not but I am 100% happy with the 50 miles I just drove the car.

Hey Mike,
Great to hear I went ahead and ordered mine from Darrel just before july was up to take advantage of the discount. They will be installed this coming Thursday. So do you notice a significant difference in the handling? Did you notice any gap from the bushing stop to the bushing like posted by (i think it was) Wingstar. Anyway keep us posted and I will update once I get mine installed.

there is a slight gap on both sides. we installed it so the gap was the same from side to side. will see how it is after a few days.

Mike,
How long did it take to do the front, is it something that can be done at home in the garage or is a lift required? I know you mentioned that the rear took like 15 minutes or so. Did you you any grease like some of the others?

ps: I need to get some info on your exhaust set up. I talked to my cousin who has the muffler shop and I told him about your car and he asked questions about pipe size etc..... (as soon as I get to hear your exhaust video clip- no pressure) I can decide to do an axle back or full custom.
Have a great day.

It would be easier with a lift for the front. The rear is a little easier to get to. I took out my rear myself and then stopped a few weeks back.

I had this installed with a Tech friend of mine on the lift. It was about 20min or so I guess. The front bar was a little bit hard to get off more no less due to the age of my car and also winters here. The rear I was able to hit with the impact and get it off pretty easy.

As for the install NO grease was used. It really is an easy install for anyone if you have the tools and a way to get under the car. He was in a hurry so I didnt get to check out my A/C to see if it was plugged so I will have the dealer check it out in the near future.

Well worth it. I have no noises after 2 days. I hope I dont end up with any issues.

I would replace the end links if I where you since your car is 06 also and start fresh.

I am actually trying to work on my PC as I am typing this. I am lost....like there is no tomorrow. I wish I had someone that could just fix this easily but it looks like that wont be happening.

on a side note I heard an ISF with a custom exhaust today and was drooling Wish we could get just a little more sound out of this car but everyone thought mine was just perfect being the car. I disagree

I promise I am working on it. I have limited access to many things so this is killing me at home.

Mike just heard your clip and that is freaking sick I posted a comment on that thread also.

I think I will do the rear myself tomorrow and wait for thursday to have the dealer install the front. My service advisor told me book time on installing the front and rear is 1.5 - 2 hours and quoted me accordingly. If I do the rear myself it will save me half the cost and still give me the opportunity to take it back to the dealership if I do develop problems in the front.

Thanks Mike for all your time and dedication!!!!

^ why do you want IS300 springs? are you trying to get a lower drop of something??

I know the ISx50 guys have used the 3rd Gen GS springs so I would assume you can use them but not sure I would suggest it with the IS300 smaller and lighter.

No longer sad about sway bars, had mine installed yesterday and no noise to report so far. I am sad because the dealership damaged my wheels. I think they are repairable because the damage is minor and dealership will cover cost.
