Not a happy camper though They damaged my wheels. My service advisor was great though very apologetic and said would take care of it. Will keep you updated!
did they curb them? install instructions only call for removing the driver side wheel.

that sucks man...hopefully they'll pay to replace or whatever is necessary to fix the situation.

The damage is not related to the sway install, they were doing other work to the car too, wheel alignment, regular maint. service which includes tire rotation. They scratched 3 of the wheels along the edge of the lip. Unlike some of the other dealerships I have heard about on this forum my advisor said to bring the car back they will give me a loaner and have a local wheel specialist take a look to see if they can repair (which I think they can) and take care of it for me along with some other items they forgot to do. He was very apologetic.
They sway are awesome though!!!!! another 30 miles on them and no noise to report.

Hey I8,
Yep it was at Bell Lexus but Doug is having it taken care of, I have to drop the car off on Monday. Sways are awesome and still no noise to report. I guess these were made for the 06 GS430

Default Sway Bar Solution update

Does anyone know if Lexus has come up with a solution or updated bushing to cure the knocking from the F-sport sway bars ?

Assistance needed from CL members, my service advisor just quoted me $260+ to install the sway bars, should I go with it or have them installed elsewhere for less than $100?

The only the I am worry is the knocking noise, so please help!

Thank you all!!!

That's a decent price for a dealership. Noise seems to be independent of who installs, but if Lexus does issue a fix it'll most likely be fixed for free if you go with the dealer. You in Dallas? I had mine done a Park Place, then Sewell did a followup "re-install" for free to try to fix the clunking noise.

$260 is a great price from the dealer. I was charged $450 from my dealer (AWD). I'm not lowered on springs yet, and to be honest...I can't tell a difference at all after installing these sway bars.

Thank you all for the input, I have decided to have them installed at the dealership!!!

But my wife is the one who closed the deal!!!
Because when I told my wife that it cost too much to have them installed at the dealership, she just gave me a dirty look... Then she said "she does not understand why I can spend 2 to 3 times more than that going out for dinner or drink without any hesitation, yet when spending money just for myself, I get stingy"!!!

Anyway, I will let you know if my knocks or not!!!

Wish me luck,

Steve

Just got my toy back from the Sewell with new mod!!!

I am in love again!!!

Normally when exiting the ramp from the tollroad (one with the loop/toll to 635), I usually go around 55~60MPH (speed limit is 30 or 35).

Today after I picked up my toy, I went through the same ramp at 90~95 MPH!!!

For real, like I8AMBR said, if you are going to mod, F-SPORT Sway Bars is a must!!!

SO FAR SO GOOD, NO KNOCKING!!!

Congrats and I concur! I have a similar couple of curves that completely transformed with the mod. I used my cruise control (~5mph clicks) to see where my limit is
Noise??????? (only <10mph, clunking sound)

This morning on the way to my office, I noticed the KNOCKING NOISE from the front sway bar...

I guess I will have to bring it in to have it corrected, good thing I had them installed at the dealership!!!

Anyway, thank you all for the great advice of getting them installed at the dealership!!!
