Strut Bar, is it worth it?

So I just graduated from college and I was wondering if I should drop some money on a strut bar for the GS. I know there exists at least one strut bar for the GS, however, after having installed a Stillen strut bar on my Infiniti FX a few years ago I was less then impressed. So is it worth even considering?

Well it helps reduce sway when entering a corner. It also helps limit vibration when going over speed bumps. It tightens your chassis up. For a full effect, you would need rear braces as well (not sure if they make those).

IMO, its always a plus to add it.

Thanks for the quick response, btw. I don't want to go too crazy on mod's, however, I want something I'll really enjoy. The K&N for example was one of the best mod's I could have done. Will I even enjoy the strut bar if I don't have the rear?

Well its not something you will feel over and over like say dropping your car, but its something I think is a worthwhile mod. Again, the biggest change will be you will feel the car slightly tighter when you steer into a corner (less flex).

it might stiffen up the steering a bit, but don't expect night and day wow feeling. those bars and braces, their gains are usually marginal. for big changes, you should look at sways or maybe coilovers

Toms racing makes the strut, lower brace, rear brace, front brace, I have the front strut and lower brace + Tein SS Coilovers with Falcon RT-615 Tires I get so mad when people say the GS sucks at handling when mine is great....lol

Coilovers big plus!!!!

Don't get a strut unless you get coilovers or a shock spring setup just my 2 cents!!!!
