Is it true there are currently no coilover set ups for the GS350 AWD?? Tell me I'm wrong....sucks if it's true. Was really wanting the Tein Flex set up.

I don't believe there is a large enough market for a company to manufacture coilovers for the AWD version. The front suspension is designed differently from the RWD. The GS AWD is not like a Subaru WRX or Audi A4, lots of people modify the suspensions on these AWD cars. These are bigger markets with at least the potential of making a profit.
if you live in an area that you must have AWD, then you don't need to lower it
if you live in an area where you can slam an AWD, then you got the wrong car

why do you want coilovers? are you planning on tracking the car and using them to have it perfectly corner balanced? if not, simple lowering springs will give you everything you are looking for, and probably save your nice Lexus smooth ride!

i dont keep my rims on all year around. i was thinking on getting coilovers to drop the car a little because of the gap in the front. i actually found a company that got a hold of tein coilovers but the price is a lot . i dont know if i want to drop that kinda of money for a inch and half drop ..

That's about the going rate for a nice set of coilovers that are active suspension compatible. Are you sure it's for an AWD?Originally Posted by gs350on22s

the tein cst are active suspension compatible? didn't know that
but either way, 1600 for coilovers sounds about right, you gotta pay to play. tein is one of the cheaper brands already

sorry, can you elaborate a bit on the active suspension? are you saying these are compatible with the AVS on our cars or you saying we can add the electronic dampening system from Teins with these?Originally Posted by nardeezy

well basically i called this company and i told him that i was looking for coilovers for AWD gs350. he told me he was gonna call his dealer up and call me back. he told me that he has tein for gs350 AWD, so i went and called tein after and they told me that they have it but it was never tested, so i am deff not gonna go with that lol.
i don't know what the other guy was trying to sell me. i guess i will leave the ride the way it is and if i find anything compatible ill do it.
i am not good with knowing much about suspension, but i didn't know it was gonna be this difficult to find something for AWD.

tein was correct. the cst has never been tested for awd, tein states on their website it's only for rwd
