Excellent job. I love the way the your GS looks. Mine's got a thicker tire, but I definately like the way yours look. I guess the smaller tires are the reason it DOES NOT rub at all. Maybe I should look into that. Great job, once again. Later.

1. Will most forged wheels (e.g. iforged, hre and other high end wheel companies) work with the GS TPMS?
2. What is the GS TPMS programmed to alarm at?
3. Normally, tire pressures are approx. 34 psi. I'm not sure how the GS TPMS alarms, is it only for low pressure and/or high pressure?
4. If it does alarm at higher pressures, what pressure and is their a way to re-program the TPMS?

I agree with D2 Motorsport. Most people have the 245/35/20 and 275/30/20 setup because of the availability of these tires in some of the less expensive tire brands, but that doe not make it the right tire. There are several negative effects of having a largely oversized wheel and tire that the possibilitys of hittting a pothole or having "SMALLER Tires" greatly outweighs the negatives attributed to have the proper setup. When I was deciding on which wheels and tires to get most of the major wheel boutiques in my area which I will not mention any names told me the way I wanted to do it was wrong. But Neal at Euroteck Motorsports in conjunction with Avus Wheels recommended this way which gives close to stock overall diameter.
Also for some odd reason my tire light has yet to come on "Knock on Wood" even without the tire sensors

Looks great! Love the Avus wheels, I actually just installed a set of their AF-501s on my '85 MR2 (Zone does not offer an 18", or I would have bought them instead), brushed centers, chrome lip. Looks insane with 18x9 3.5" lip + 235/30-18 on the back!!!!! Talk about a rubber band...
One other thing about running tires that are "too tall;" it affects the gearing. My current 255/35-20 & 285/30-20 (about 1" taller than OE) set-up looks good on the car, but I often wonder if the car wouldn't be a little quicker with the "correct" 245/30-20 & 285/25-20 set-up.
Nice going. Lovin' the 3GS!

Great point on the gearing, plus the Continental package is about the same price as a set of Toyo T1-R's which is a great deal for such exotic sizing

Cheesus Crust from Dominicos. It's the highest quality pizza of the low quality pizzas~
But really I would love to see that too. Let's see some picks of those tires, "if you can see them" LOL

The inners AND the outer rims are chromed, the centers are brushed w/ a ceramic clear coat.
Sorry for the scruffy state of the car- it's half taken apart, getting ready for paint.
The engine and interior are out- that's why the car sits high.
Wheels are AF-501
Front 18x8 2.0" lip 215/35-18 Toyo T1-R
Rear 18x9 3.5" lip 235/30-18 Toyo T1-R
