Replace or turn rotors IS250 F Sport RWD
 

I need the rear brakes and rotors addressed and was told 2 different things by 2 dealerships. One says to turn the rotors, while the other says they can't be turned and must be replaced instead. Which one is right?

Any non slotted/drilled rotor can be machined the question is why, a new coated rotor is ~$40. IMO you should stop paying the dealer tax and find a good independent mechanic.

Thanks. Yes a Lex dealer told me this, but I won't be paying Lexus prices for it. I'll definitely have an independent mechanic handle it.
