Default Sticking steering and hard to turn

Anyone ever had any problem with their SC400/300 that isis ve hard to turn when the weather is cold or steering sticking (around the 2 and 10 o' clock position) after replacing the steering rack bushings? I know my pump is leaking but not enough to where I need to add fluid. I do plan to replace the steering pump but who knows when.

are you using the correct fluid? should be dextron III-IV ATF not power steering fluid.
