2014 IS350 AWD FSport with RSR Downs feels rough
Hi Everyone,
I have a 2014 awd fsport is350 with RSR downs on stock wheels and ride seem rough. Mileage on the car is 100,000km / 60'000 miles, on the springs should be about 14,000km. Does anyone else have this setup that can chime in on their experience please.
Thinking of possibly changing the shocks & struts, if so what would be the best option to retain the adjustability of the f sport feature of shock dampening and max comfort?
Thanks

I have the RSR Downs installed on my 2014 AWD, but it's a 250, so I don't have the AVS system.
The reality is that shock/strut performance does degrade over time, without leaking or any other signs.
As a recommendation to maintain optimal ride quality, shock/struts should be replaced at 80,000kms.
But of course no one does, including myself.
It's like the Smart Key battery...they recommend replacing the battery once a year to maintain optimum range on the remote...who does that?...Everyone waits til the battery dies.
If you installed the Downs around 86,000kms, that would have been the perfect time to replace all the shocks/struts as well.
Best option now would be the replace them with the OEM units...this should get you another 4-5 years.
Unless you're ready to make the move to coilovers now.
