ISF absorbers & springs for 2IS '08
Hi Guys
just gotten a IS250 RWD 2008 and I am considering changing to absorbers as they are making some noises Can I confirm if the ISF's absorbers & spring (I should be changing the whole set as it doesnt make sense for me to sense 1 and keep the other) will be suitable and will I suffer alot comfort wise if I go ISF Thanks!!! |
im selling my is350 rear shocks if you're interested hit me up. as far as ISF components are concerned, the spring rates are higher which translates into a noticeably stiffer ride. and keep in mind, the negative rake..

thanks for the reply
unfortunately im not in the US hence the shipping is gonna kill me:mad: thats pretty much the info i gathered from reading up these couple of days regarding the isf I m looking at koni yellow/kyb/tokico blues w stock spring for the moment any recommendation for these that does not sacrifice too much of the lexus luxury feel? ps i was quoted about 120usd per shock for stock oem |
tokico or koni are sporty alternatives and will work better than kyb. but they're also pricier. 120usd for genuine oem shocks is a good deal if you want to maintain oem levels of comfort.
|
the thing is there are so many differing opinions on these
I am nearing towards tokico tho just want to be sure...u are talking abt the tokico blues and not the illumina? are the blues or the koni yellow adjustable?
