IS350 Parking Brake Cable Adjustment
I've got a-lot of slack in my parking brake cable, so when I put the parking brake on the pedal almost goes to the floor before anything happens. I have adjusted the parking brake shoes, they are close to the drums and hold the car in place just fine.
Does anyone know where there is an adjustment for taking the slack out of the cable(s)?

The diagram specifies adjustment nuts. You'll have to look at the diagram to where they are at

The parking brake adjustment is really easy, there is a bolt with a nut on it in front of, and basically in line with the pedal itself. It is difficult to see unless you remove the bottom trim cover and basically lay down with your head looking up at the top of the pedal. Once you find the nut, tighten it to take up slack in the cable, loosen it to create slack. Easy peasy.

You can also adjust the parking brake cable via the adjuster dial in the rear braking assembly itself, as seen here : https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...ml#post6954932
The spiky, rotary dial looking thing you just turn to tighten. Not so much on my Lexus, but on other vehicles (especially manual trans) where the E-brake is used more often, over time the cables stretch and adjustments are needed more often.

Thank you guys for sharing this information and photo.
I made adjustment from the drum side two years ago but still have some slack.
I will try the parking brake pedal side this time when I mount my winter tires this weekend.
