2017 lexus IS 200T f sport Brakes
Good Morning everyone. First time on this site and first time having a Lexus so i wanted to see if this was normal. i have a 2017 is200T f sport, car only has 13 K miles and the front brakes are making sounds like if they need to be changed. I do ride the car hard but i wouldn't of thought it will kill the brakes this quick. Is this normal ??

Unfortunately those front brakes do wear out fast. Mines did the same and it was the GF driving so she wasn't even hard on the car at all. It was 2016 IS200T fsport

Yep normal. Replaced mine at 15k.
This car uses professional high friction german pads. so they're high wear and tear items. but perform quite well.
pay to play.

does the brake issue claim to be? Just upgrade your rotors, use ceramic pads, I stall the brake hardware kit correctly.. when you pull the caliper bolts and the pin, clean them brake cleaner and install them CLEAN and lubed with brake grease. Be sure to try a good quality brake pad with built in shims. I cannot stress enough, install a new brake kit hardware kit on each caliper after you touch the pads. That optional hardware kit prevents vibration and squeal.
