HELP, Can't remove the rear strut after 4 hours of trying
#33
I also managed to drop a nut behind the gas tank, and another nut in the engine bay somewhere. I now only have 2 14mm nuts on the front strut top mounts, so I hope that's ok.
TEMPOCK,
You have to put those 3 nuts back on. Do not just put 2.
The boot is ripped in the last pic. Either source a good one,i.e. previously-enjoyed, or fix that one???
Inside the little boot,on the star--hex--side of the end link, there is a nut you can hold on to, like a previous post stated, but of course it's better to use the hex if possible.
Are the end leaks leaking grease?

just throwing it out there.. all i did was unbolt the rear brake calipers and use a pry bar to push the hub/knuckle down and there was plenty of clearance to remove the shock. i see my post is a bit late though
