it's a 1993 sc with tein coilers dropped about and inch and a half. on the smallest bumps, it sounds like the whole front end is gonna just detach from the car lol.
my driver side sway bar end link has to be changed, its rattling and just old as hell which I'm getting changed.
even before that, the car just doesn't feel solid.
anything I can do to change or replace? thought about getting sway bars but idk if that'll make a difference.

Checking the sway bar bushings and control arm bushings would be a good place to start. Do your coilovers use the OEM strut mounts or do they have their own solid mounts? Solid mounts will make the ride harsher obviously. If you retained the oem mounts, check to make sure they are not trashed.

How do decent coilovers like BC racing compare to a lowering spring setup and OEM shocks? I'm trying to lower my SC and stiffen up the ride preferably for under 1k.

Lowering springs aren't adjustable like coilovers, they go down as far as they go and that's it. With 1k dollars you can do a gixxer_drew setup which will get you the adjustability of coilovers but most guys say it rides better than true coils. There are several write ups here about how to do it along with Drew's original post on Supraforums.
