Default Lowering Springs IS350 2014 Fsport AWD recomendation

Hi. I need some recomendation. I plan to install lowering springs for my IS350 '14 AWD to have a small drop of about 1" and not to lose comfort if possible. I thought of RSR half-down but they are deicated for RWD only.
What do you think guys?

RSR downs since day 1 (2015 AWD) Feels like stock only slightly stiffer. Have 19” and no rubbing and alignment is within factory specs.

Sounds like the right drop for you since you only a minimal drop. RSR is the only spring that drops the least.

I never actually measured it but RSR claims -1.2 front and -.8 in back and I’d say that’s spot on

I just dropped mine on RSR super down springs with 20mm front and 25mm rear spacers.. VERY minor rubbing issue on the front.
Trim off some liner

25mm front with 18mm rear spacer. Sitting on RSR super down.

Very little rubbing

If I'm not mistaken I'm almost sure that the springs are the same between RWD and AWD 3IS models. Can someone confirm?

Some companies have the same part #, some don't.

So that means they are the same springs regardless of AWD or RWD?

There will be different drop depending if you have the RWD or AWD vehicle. You may not get the intended stance if you swap them (?).

According to Tanabe's NF210 .. if its RWD the drop is 1.4" F / 1.0" R, where as the same spring/part# listed for AWD shows a drop of only 1.0" F / 1.0" R
Link: http://www.tanabe-usa.com/nf210.asp?id=2

RSR is one of the few that makes a specific AWD spring.

RSR (AWD): http://www.rs-r.com/product/lexus-is...-springs-2014/

RSR (RWD): http://www.rs-r.com/product/lexus-is...-springs-2014/

I have the same car as you. Looking into getting Ark Springs instead of RSR. To me RSR Springs has a bigger gap in the front then the rear and Ark springs close the gap on the front but rears is minimum

I just installed RSR down springs 14' RWD.

Lowest point of the cars underbody (near the rear wheels) is 4" exact.
Front bumper was 5.5" off the ground (non f-sport).

Agreed about the gap closure, although Ark does not produce AWD-specific springs. A 250 AWD owner here put the Arks on his and it looks perfect, but what did you end up with?

Just put front Downs onto my 2014 350 AWD F Sport. Unfortunately, when tightening the last lug nut the stud on the spacer broke, so we had to remove both front spacers and the wheels are now sunken in, especially compared to the rears which still have their spacers. I also have Half Downs for the rear, but not sure whether or not to put them on yet. The car does appear to have a bit of rake forward now, but the wheel gaps are of course much closer.

Drop has been pretty much spot on 1" (RS-R spec is 1.0-1.2"), total fender height in the front sits about 25.7" and it's not much over 5" to the front lip. The fronts are measuring more consistently now but it's still variable day to day, even within minutes. In fact, one time yesterday both fronts and the right rear measured identical fender heights, but the left rear alone was 1" lower so from the back it looked like the car had a flat. Today however the car is sitting very balanced, although a bit hard to tell in pics because of the front tires being shadowed by the fenders, from not having the spacers.

sorry if this is a stupid question but i'm looking to lower my 2014 350 rwd f sport and i keep seeing comments about a reverse rake or forward rake look? what does that mean? I'm not familiar with this and I'd like to know before i commit to buying springs.
