I own a white sc300 its a 1993 and it has been converted to a manual transmission and i love it ive owned it since 2015. so my issue with the car was swaying all over the road allmost *** end hopping around if you hit uneven pavement with your foot on the gas. it has allways done this since i owned it but progressively got worse over time with hard driving i slide the car regularly. i was told it was the balljoints being shot in the rear lower control arms. ouchies very expensive from lexus... so i bought the megan racing rear lower camber control arms for my car they look so sick. i then had to drive the car from Florida to Pennsylvania for a emergency. WITHOUT INSTALLING THE ARMS. it allmost killed me like 7 times. but i made it and lucky for me the place i am staying has a garage and tools and i brought the arms. im not looking to camber the car i just want it not to sway can i install these things without other parts and just set the ajustments to stockish settings? also realistically should i be replacing any other stuff back there just cause its apart... the locator arms dont seem to have to much to go wrong with. the tow arm looks like it has a ball joint does that fail also? any advice or suggestions thanks again

At this age, almost all the bushings or ball joints will have minor play on our cars. While replacing the LCA, I would inspect all the bushings and ball joints for obvious damage. If you have the tools, then replace the bushings too. I would also recommend loosening and torquing all the oem bolts back to spec to "reset" everything. Make sure to get a good alignment. Don't try to eyeball it and hope for the best.

Based on how you are describing what the car is doing, I would say it is more likely the toe arms are the problem. Almost always is. Get a set of those, you can buy the aftermarket ones for $100/ea roughly. Put them on, you will be ok until you can get the other bushings etc replaced. But, if you have the time and money, go thru all of them.

Thanks for the input guys yeah I'm probably going to order the toe arms from megan too. I will post pics of the megan components installed.
