Default AWD IS250 to IS350 Brake Upgrade

So I have been researching and I for some reason could not find a definitive answer to what I've been wondering. I have a 2008 AWD IS250 and I was planning on upgrading the brakes to the IS350/GS350 brakes, I am aware that the front rotors have to be AWD to fit but I don't know if the brake calipers have to be AWD also (correct me if I'm wrong). Does anyone know the answer to this? I need to confirm before I start buying parts since I really don't want to waste time and money.

The calipers are the same either way. The only differences between the AWD and RWD are the rotors and backing plates (though some USA-spec RWD models also use the same rotors as the AWD).

Thanks but for the rotors, is the years 2006 to 2015 (I read this from somewhere but I don't remember) the same? Or Is it only just 2006 to 2013?

2007-2018 are the same for the rotors. (2006 GS didn't have an AWD with the larger brakes, IS350 AWD didn't start production until 2011).

For the backing plates, you'll need it from a 2007-2011 GS AWD or 2011-2013 IS350 AWD. The newer vehicles have different knuckles/backing plates.
