Rotor Life

It might be because of the brake pad compound being used in conjunction with the rotors are more aggressive to stop your behemoth. I know that when I purchased my IS350 with 31k miles on it, I had to change the pads and rotors within the next 2k miles because they're toast. Both being factory components too!

Thank you
The service tech also advised due to the size (weight) of the GX and the fact that humidity & temperature also effect brake pad and rotor life (I live in Miami) that rotor life on a GX can fluctuate greatly depending on the way you drive. They were able to resurface the rotors but replaced front and rear pads. I'm an insurance claims guy with two little girls. I'd rather be safe than sorry. Thanks for the response!
