Default Dealer did a sports suspension alignment instead of standard

I have a 2008 IS350 and have F-Sport sway bars but didn't change the springs.

A few weeks ago, I got my tires changed and got an alignment done as well. I just noticed that the alignment done was using the "sports suspension" spec instead of standard suspension. The spec seems to be the same for both types with sports suspension alignment having a tighter ranges except the Toes.

While the sports suspension Toes are 0.5 to 2.5 for front and -0.5 to 1.5 for rear, the standard Toes are -0.04 to 0.12 for front and 0.04 to 0.20 for rear. The current Toes on my car are 0.5mm for the front and 1.1mm for the rear.

What's the effect of this? Should I get another alignment? And having F-Sport sway bars would change into the sports suspension category? The handling seems to be fine ...

You're fine; however, zeroing out the front toe will help those front tires last longer.

hm, OK. How much will it hurt the tire life? I wonder if I should keep it for experiment and check the front tire wear :-) Last time the alignment on front were 0.05 and they last about 25K and wears fairly evenly. Does the current 0.5 in the front means the tires are more outward (more road contact on the inner tread)?

If you got 25k out of them last time, that's great! It would be best to ask Google to explain what toe is and can do for you. Also, since the toe alignment is NOT static, thanks to the mushy OEM rubber LCA bushings, you might want to look into RR Racings USRS bushings/mounts.

I just want to give a small update. After driving the car for 6 months, I actually like the sports suspension alignment better. It seems to drive more straight and goes more to where the car is pointed at. I'll see how the tire wear holds up.
