Hello, I did search a bit for this... and found an amazing thread on changing the 350 brakes over to the 250 which might happen later lol

As for my current question I have slotted front and rear brakes on my is, currently looking at changing the front brakes out (rears have plenty of meat left) I'm looking at the following brands/types and would like to know what you all use.
Akebono proACT Premium ceramic
Brembo W0133-1829105 Ceramic
Centric C-tek metallic brake pads
Monroe Semi metallic brake pads
And EBC redstuff

Price is all over the place with the front brakes $17 at the lowest and around 90 for the highest, therefore I wanted to get your expert opinions

I'm an EBC red stuff fan myself, and every car I've ever upgraded with these pads always felt better braking wise... except this car lol. IMO the formulation of the red stuff pads for our platform is too grabby. They're high quality and they never squeal but they're grabby. I hated them. Just now changed them over to the plain old whatevertheheck pads that came on it when I purchased it and now my nice smooth Lexus-like brake modulation is back.
It sucks because I love EBCs. These red stuffs also dusted like CRAZY. Cant wait to see the dust on these no-namers.

3rd... Full set of these on my IS-350 were flawless for 20k miles before selling her to a good friend. We just put a set on my g/f's IS-250 as well and they've been great. Very affordable too.
