Default Front Sway Bar Links - Brands

Was looking under my car today and noticed a bunch of grease build up on the front passenger sway bar link. Driver side has a little play in it too, but it doesn't appear to be leaking (yet). Just curious what's everyone recommending for sway bar links on these cars these days? I really don't feel like dropping the money on Figs links, well, at least until I can get ahold of an F-Sport front sway bar anyways. Would much prefer a sealed one, like our OEMs, such as the ACDelco Pro 45G20806.

Just wondering before I just pull the trigger on the ACDelco.

You could find a replacement part in a junkyard on a totaled car and save quite a bit, although the parts might not be in good condition. If you don't want to deal with this hassle, buying new OEM ones online is probably your best bet.

Eh, I took a gamble and ordered the AC Delco since Amazon had it in stock. Unfortunately, this was a headache. The OEM nuts don't fit on the ACDelco threads, and the nuts they provide are absolute junk. They begin stripping within a few turns, and just make the whole thing slip without a vice grip. Grats on ACDelco for that quality, nice link, junk nuts. I'm probably just going to see when Amazon will have the OEMs in stock and return this after getting both sides, gonna have to drive on it for a bit until the others come in.

Speaking of OEM, does anyone have the part numbers for the 08? I see two different part numbers with one of them being double the price of the other.

Aren't the OEM endlinks encased in a plastic housing? MOOG endlinks claim they're all metal. I will try these in a few months. Before the winter starts. I installed the front F sport sway bar this weekend. I noticed some play in the front endlinks, but no grease weeping out.

They're metal as far as I can tell. I did return the AC Delco and got the OEM lexus part and it looked, and felt, like metal to me. It was so nice installing the OEM part without it spinning on you.

No. They are not encased.

Sorry I meant the bearing part. Here’s the description from Moog.

Socket-style sway bar links are made with durable powdered-metal bearings that can withstand much greater loads without deforming like plastic bearings do. Moog powdered-metal "gusher" bearings keep lubrication at the bearing surfaces, enhancing durability and service life. Designed for easy installation.

Also the Moog’s look beefier than OEM.
