Thought about doing the same thing, and buying 5 sets for the price of what some OEM single front LCA,s are selling for. The worst that could happen is I'd end up changing them more often, but I'd have available spares. LOL! Any one who buys these please post your opinions and results after using, as they could be a viable alternative for us to use. For now though I'm going to go with a NAS/Sankie aftermarket set.

im waiting for bens to get his set to see his opinion before i make my decision but i still cant find that NAS/Sankie part that youre talking about rambler.

EDIT: never mind found em! lol

let us know how those NAS arms workout for you because those arent as crazy priced as the oems and if the chinese once dont work out the NAS is a good alternative to oem.

Be getting a set in a couple weeks or sooner, have to get the Ford Exploder thru Pa inspection then back to buying SC parts. Will let every one know what I think about the NAS/Sankei control arms.

I installed a set of NAS arms today (along with Moog Swaybar end links). They fit perfectly, came with nice hardware, and look great.

Took me about 4 hours to replace both sides, primarily because some of my tools didn’t fit (ball joint separator and needed a 23 and 24mm socket).

Ramblerman: Thanks for the heads up on the NAS arms!

So are those technically "SC" arms or "Supra" arms? From what I've gathered, there was typically a difference with the bushings being softer on SC arms and stiffer on Supra arms.

The weight was identical to the original arms.
The ride is nice and tight. The alignment is spot on now.

As you can see from my mod list, I am not going to get a super smooth ride. But I was looking to be better able to feel the road. I purchased the car with bad LCA’s (and had never driven or ridden in a SC with good LCA’s) so it is a night and day difference to me.

I actually feel like I’m in control of the car now. The terrible noises are gone. All in all, I’m happy with them.

Where were you able to source those NAS lower control arms from? I've been searching but haven't been able to find any online.

After doing some research i found that NAS stands for North American Suspension inc which, according to their facebook page is the american version of Sankie which are made in japan. I think this is probably the best deal we are going to get on these arms. i will probably be ordering a set in the next month because mine needs some really badly.

They are selling like hot cakes! If the listing goes off, just keep checking. They have been getting them in sets of 4 so it appears. They sold out 3 times before I ordered my set and there was 2 sets left then. Have been in contact with seller and they have indicated that they are trying to keep them in stock. These are new stock for them and just getting their supply line set up. Last listed on page 3 of steering/suspension @ebay store.
