Glad to hear you got a set, as you are OP on this thread. Enjoy the improved drive. I wont be able to enjoy mine for a few more months till the snow melts! (Erie Pa.)

Kinda depends what else has wore out. I'm slowly replacing all my suspension parts to bring my car back to that new car feel and ride. The thing about the front LCA's was they were only available OEM for a long time and were outrageously expensive. Now we have found alternative ones that don't break the bank!

Can someone confirm the feeling of having new OEM bushing at the LCA? Does it feel like driving a newer car now as far as hitting potholes and stuff? I have an SC300 that has 137K mile but it had less than 100K when I first got it. The bushing look ok but they're still 20+ year old I never driven a low mileage SC to know for sure.

when i replaced my front LCAs it came with new bushings, the car feels more planted when driving and the braking feels alot smoother at slower speeds ( before the wheels would wobble when actuating brakes so it was a bit more rough). Car also turns a bit more confidently or maybe thats just me. In terms of bumps and potholes, i noticed that all the clunking noise that i would get from hitting bumps are gone and it does feel a bit smoother when going over speedbumps or general road imperfections. I would say lift your car up in the air and try wiggling your wheel forward/backward, up/down, in/out. If there is any play, then youll need to replace some bushings or maybe even other components, if there is no play then i wouldnt bother replacing the bushings.

I had just bought my front LCAS recently one from a toyota dealership from tenesse that was for a 96 supra and the other one off of amazon. in total i spent about 716. These seem like a much better deal though. I still feel some play in the front suspension however and am looking at some other options, like the UCAs.
