I got Tanabe springs on stock shock for about 9 years, no issues. It's not as low as Teins. If i had to do it again i would go Teins as it's a tad lower. As for rubbing on oem 18s you shouldn't run either springs.

I have H&Rs. Ride very well , even drop, and look great. I do admit that I want my rear lower so may switch to coils at some point.

Fortune autos. Bc racing has a great reputation as well. The fortunes are made a few miles from me so I can get them rebuilt locally if needed.

And another one. I have no idea on how to make the pics bigger.

Not at all. Im on factory tire specs with the optional isp mode 18" wheels. There may still be a set in the classifieds here. You'll need shocks too if you have a lot of miles on your car. My car only has 48k on it so they're not bad. Also think someone is selling oem suspension here as well with crazy low miles. Oem shocks keep that plushy ride.

Back then, I had 18x8 all round. With 225/45 and 255/40. The front fill the gaps well. The inner guard had been scrapped from previously so no more rubbing.

In my opinion putting springs on 11 year old shocks is a very bad idea since they're going to blow very soon with the amount of stress the lowering springs will provide. If you really want springs I suggest getting new shocks as well, but that will put you in a price range of coilivers already so you might as well get coilovers. I've had the Megan EZ coils and Megan LP coils o both of my IS and they rode very comfortably, if set up properly they feel like oem suspension.

If you need to ask how to install coils then i would think you cannot do it. Coils are not to be done by novice people. You need someone who has done it before and know his ****z. As for what coils, there are plenty of info on this forum or google, just do a search. Why not upgrade rims?
