BC coilover dampening adjustments
I have 12k/10k rates on my car and am having a hard time finding a good balance for the dampening adjustments. First off are the adjusters changing compression or rebound dampening? And for a car with no wheel gap, what should my settings be? Seems to ride worse as the gas tank gets closer to empty (the weight is more comfortable). I will gladly trade my springs for 10k/8k if anyone wants! I need the comfort more than I need to be that low, I plan to raise the car up to a 1 finger gap which should help with not bottoming out lighter springs.

From full soft I'm at 18 up front and 15 out back. Ideally with rock crawlers and off-roaders, you run the lightest spring possible and tune the shocks to suit your needs but the coil is just there to hold the body up. If these shocks are on the lighter end of valving for these springs, I'd guess I'm over sprung and under damped. I think if I get lighter springs it'll probably be just right.
