The front backing plates are cheap and relatively easy to change (if the bearing assemblies come out from the knuckle easily), so I'd recommend changing them. The rears are harder and more expensive, cutting can work well here (the rotor size difference is not as pronounced as on the front).

Make sure the rear calipers you get match the year of car you have. The ones you have in your cart look to be for an early model 2IS, I believe.

Thank you Jeff! That is extremely helpful info. I'll be ordering 2015 IS350 rear calipers for my 2015 RWD Fsport IS250.

I'm attaching the brake dust shields (front) I've purchased in hopes it may help someone in the future

What year is your IS250? Is it AWD or RWD?
That will help determine what rotors you need.

As this is the 3IS forum (2014+), the rotor fitment from our vehicles may not be exactly the same for your 2IS.
Rather than guess and steer you incorrectly, you may want to pose your question on the 2IS (2006-2013) forum (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...2006-2013-163/)...they also have a Suspension and Brake section, or you can post it in the General chat as well.
While to calipers are the same from 2006 to present for the 350, not sure if the rotors/pads/backing plates are exactly the same. Pad compound will likely vary even though physical size may be the same.

For a 2007 RWD IS250 you can use any IS350 rotors, they'll all fit. 2006-2020.
