Relocating wires under driver fender?

Default Relocating wires under driver fender?

I'm getting ready to lower my SC300. I saw on YouTube that some people are relocating the wiring under the driver side fender to avoid them being damaged. Is this really necessary? Seems like a pain to do. I plan to lower the car to about 1/2 above the fender. Not sure if this is really necessary.
