Knocking Noise, unsure if suspension related.
I have been having a knocking noise going on for quite some time now. It SEEMS to happen when either I back up from a parking space, hit the brakes, shift into drive while also turning the wheel left, or sometimes happens when just shifting into drive after backing up.
Things I have looked at...
Axle - axle boot is torn and leaking grease, however it is still greased up quite a bit. I plan on replacing this soon, but I do not think this is the cause of a single knock when turning. I am under the impression that this will cause a constant clicking noise when turning close to full lock.
End links - brand new, less than a year.
Tie rod end - boot was torn, planning to replace soon as well. Still plenty greased up.
Strut/Spring - top hat is strange. The three bolts are the top, 2 of them will become "snug" after just 3 teeth. One of the nuts will seemingly continue to be able to be tightened. It is currently circled in red and at about 5 teeth right now. Not sure if the center strut nut is too tight, too loose, or just right. I do not have a torque wrench sadly.
Any ideas????

I had a constant clunking sound because of a bad cv axle - replaced it and it's all good.
Later I had a intermittent popping/clunk because of a bad upper control arm, checked out the area and parts had a lot of play plus the castle nut couldn't tighten down, replaced it and it;s all good.

First attempt at fixing this is happening tonight. Ordered a new upper control arm (which includes ball joint and castle nut), new strut mount (bolt broke circled in picture). I'm also going to tighten anything I find somewhat loose down there. Everything I looked at seems tight so hopefully I do find something loose. If that doesn't work then I will just replace everything in a few months...LCA, Wheel Bearing, Lower Ball Joints, etc.
