Default Quick wheel fitment question

Please, be gentle, it's my first post! I've tried and tried to find the answer to this, but the answer seems to elude me, despite my numerous searches. I have a 2015 IS350 AWD F-sport, and would like to run a square tire set up and RSR Half Downs. Will the rear factory wheel and tire size work in the front? The widest that I can seem to find anyone running in the front is a 245. Ideally, I'd like to get two more rear wheels, run 255's all around, and maybe 15mm spacers or so.

First off RSR doesn't make half downs for AWD. Try searching on the build threads I'm sure your questions will be answered. Where in Michigan? I have a 15 AWD Fsport as well.

Ah! I didn't realize the half downs were rwd only! Glad I asked the question. I've delved through a ton of build threads it seems, and searched as many ways as I can think of phrasing, but I can't seem to find anyone that has actually done it. I guess I'm just going to have to flip the wheels around one weekend and see what happens.

Oh, I forgot, I'm around the Ann Arbor area. Just moved up here in January for work.

8.5 inch aftermarket front wheel is pretty common. I'm not sure if anyone has tried the rear OEM rims on the front. I'd assume that someone out there has done it, whether by accident or purposefully.
Usually the aftermarket 8.5 are purchased in a +35 offset (or somewhere around there). The OEM rear wheels have a +50 offset...I think the concern would be does it clear the 350 brake caliper. Also if it hits the suspension on the inside.
Honestly I would test fit it like you suggested. Also look out for full lock on the steering...does it rub anywhere at full lock of the steering, left or right.
15mm spacers would definitely do the trick to make everything clear.

I had read several times about people using a 19x8.5, with the different offset, and that's why I'm hoping that it will work with the 15mm (or more) spacer. Hoping to get to a square setup, in conjunction with new sway bars, for a more neutral handling car on track days. Probably won't be too upset if I have to drop to a 245, as I plan on new tires anyway, but more tire is always better, right? Lol.

Too bad I'm on the other side of the state. Not much going on over here except for little ricer cars.
