Default EBC Pad Anti Squeal Shims

I've searched the forum but couldn't find where I would need to apply the supplied stick-on Anti Squeal Shims that comes with the EBC Ultimax2 pads.

According to this video, there are two shim sheets.
I have not taken my pads off to have a look BUT assuming there are atleast one of these shim sheets there.

Where do I apply the stick-on shim padding, in between the two shim sheets, directly to the rear of the pad? or after the two shim sheets?

I've only had experience using their Yellow Stuff pads and the single shim is already attached to the back of the pad.

You can try contacting EBC directly to see if they can help. I've submitted several inquiries to them in the past and they are typically quick to respond with an appropriate answer.

Yes, it is best to contact the manufacturer. But since those "pads" appear to not be metal, I'd assume they get applied directly next to the pad itself...and then a metal shim after that (OEM Lexus shim).

Good luck!

Thanks guys, i'll send EBC an email. I think its directly to the back of the pads before any metal shims.

Have emailed them but there has not been a reply.

The Utlimax2 pads also has the shim welded to them. Not sure why EBC gives you the fibre stick on shims. It doesn't look like they belong on the pads.
