Aftermarket Struts for Swift Springs
Hey all,
I've been doing research on which suspension to change to (2016 IS350), and have decided to go with Swift Springs.
Are there any aftermarket struts/shocks that have been released that pair well with them?
The drop is mild (~1 inch), but I'd prefer to do things "properly" and not cause any unnecessary damage to the stock struts.
I've read that people are okay (so far) with RSR downs / swifts on stock, but was wondering if there was an aftermarket option; I'm not sure if swifts were designed to be used with stock 3is.
There were a few people with Eibach and H&R kits ; is there anything similar for swifts?
EDIT: I think the drop may result with -2 camber all around-- do people recommend getting camber arms, or will adjusting toe be enough?
Thanks!

Hey.
If you're going to change out the struts and springs, why not go coils?

A few reasons-- not sure if they're 100% valid, please feel free to correct any misunderstandings I may have
1.) I'm not looking to get "moar" low--a 1 inch drop is perfect for me. Even though coilovers can be adjusted, it seems like a waste for a DD I'll never track. Some spirited driving at best, haha
2.) Coilover longevity is generally considered to be worse than a spring/strut combo. I'd prefer not to have to rebuild every 40k
3.) For the price range I'm looking at, (~1.2k), I'd probably end up with BCRs which are pretty entry level, there have been many complaints about noise
and durability, clunking from the rear passenger side is most common

All your points are very valid. Swift Springs are one of the best springs in my opinion.

Anybody with input on aftermarket struts? I can't be the only one wondering about this, can I?
Also open to people coming in and telling me I'm being paranoid / stock struts would work fine~

Do you think it'd be better ride quality to go with something like BCRs compared to swifts / stock struts? My main concern is durability-- if they're about the same then I'd go coilovers

The answer about ride quality is subjective. A ride quality that makes you happy may not satisfy the next person.

Forgot to update: I emailed the CS and this is what they had to say: "Our springs were designed around the oem shocks. You will not have an issue using our springs and you do not need to worry about premature wear on the shocks."
Looks like anecdotal support backs up their claims-- great to hear!
