Default Ls400 front brake swap on 2gs, which RCA?

Whats up Cl. Im trolling around and thought about the 2000 ls400 front brakes on my 2gs. Did some research and notice ill need to install rca if i do. Not sure about brackets ether. My gs is lowered 1.7in on the front with 19x9in rims no tuck with fat tires 245/40 cause of these horrible ny streets. Anyone can help with the right rca? And whats a good source other then local part store for calipers since i have no core

I haven't put my car together yet, few more weeks. But I purchased RCA's from sage to give me clearance. 30mm for the front & 40mm for the rear to give a 1" drop on factory suspension all the way around. I purchased my brake calipers from a salvage yard dirt cheap. I'm running factory 19x8 with 45mm offset in the front and 19x9 in the rear. 245/35/19 front and 255/35/19 rear. More than enough clearance

That should drop you down an extra or close to an half inch. Could be wrong

Megan Racing makes an affordable but quality RCA..

they could be to low for you, as they add about 30mm or about an extra inch of drop

OP, I have been contemplating the BB swap also, I understand you asked about RCA but to piggy back off your post I have a question. Why do people go for used OEM calipers instead of new Duralast ones from AutoZone which would be roughly 200 for the pair without swapping the core. Just out of curiosity. Regarding RCA as long as its made of forged aluminum I don't see an issue regarding brand. But if its for a peace of mind, I would just go with the Megan Racing ones.

I have sage as well. Front and rear. Was gonna do Megan until I read a thread about bolt failure. Didn't want that issue on my hands when I'm driving & especially if my kids are riding with me.

I have the Megan 30mm, with my lowering springs and bilstein struts I was getting UCA slap. So I took them out. I ordered the Figs 17mm ones but haven't installed them yet. I am waiting for my LS400 Calipars before I do it.

I experienced that too and switched to the FIGS and now have almost no issue with the slapping.
