Bc Coilovers (R-22-BR) Mount Question
Hey guys! So I have decided to make the jump from the 1 day old RSR Down's to Bc Coilover I just had a few questions about the Mount Type when ordering them. They come with these three options available, what are the advantages and disadvantages of each mount type? From what I understand the Pillowball joint has camber adjustment built into the coil? If thats so why would they even offer the other types of mounts?
(Standard) Pillowball Front/Rubber or No Rear
(Custom 1) Rubber Front and Rear
(Custom 2) Pillowball Front/ Rear
Also do you guys think the swift spring upgrade is worth the extra $320.00?

I ended up going with standard, at least one of the reps recommended that for me. I did the swift spring upgrade on my previous car and it was a bit stiffer but handled amazingly. Didnt go with the upgrade this time around since im looking for a softer ride.

Because the IS has upper and lower wishbone suspension on the front, the pillowball mount won't do anything for camber adjustment...you would need adjustable control arms.

I picked up the front camber arms from Meagan, but I cannot find the rear camber kit for the life of me I believe that the 16-17 suspension differs from the 14-15 at least for the base models, I'm assuming this because they have different models on the camber arms and their rear kit doesn't fit the 2016 200t rwd non f sport. I tried to contact Meagan but it's been about a week with nO response. Currently I have rsr downs on the front and stock in the rear, it's not my daily and I was planning on upgrading to the bc coils eventually. But for now I think the stance looks pretty cool, handling wise I wouldnt take it to the track but for driving around the streets it looks pretty cool. Anyone have a non fsport 2016 rwd and find the camber kit?
