Default Best Coilovers for SC400 Daily Driver?

Hi guys,

With tax time here, I want to finally get some coilovers for my '96 SC400. I simply use it as a daily driver and I take a road trip or two every summer. No track time what so ever. So, I'd like to hear what you guys have to say about certain brand/model coilovers. I'm pretty new to the modifying community. Up until now, all I've done on my car is maintenance so I can use all the knowledge I can get.

Thanks in advance!

BC Racing, D2 Racing and Stance are the most popular among this particular make.
We see the most sales out of the BC Racing. Very comfortable daily driver and an overall high quality part.

BC Racing or Megan Racing here for ya my friend! The EZ Street is a great street focused coilover with budget in mind, and BC Racing is always a fantastic brand in terms of quality.

I had Megan Streets on my SC300, and loved them until I parked the car. Would take roadtrips about 2-3 hours away 2 times or so a month, and never had a problem.

How many years, or how many thousands of miles did they last before you had to get a new set?

In terms of longetivity, the BC Racing will out perform the Megan EZ Streets. Normal the EZ Streets need shock replacement after about 2-3 years while the BC Racing are average around the 4-5 mark. This of course is also factoring that these are driven normally.

BC Racing is way over dampened and vendors are always going to have a keen interest in selling you what is available in their inventory at the moment. You want a good coilover system that won't compromise on quality for a fair price? Go with Fortune Auto. It's the only coilover hand assembled for YOUR specific vehicle and situation.
