Question Brembo Evo 8 brakes?

Does anyone have any experience using the Brembos from the EVO 8 onto the SC (300-400)? Are there any custom brackets available to fit the Sc?

Thanks for the info in advance.

No brackets and to be honest there are much better options such as ls400 brakes or tt supra brakes,
Remember those calipers are for stopping a much lighter car.

I have to ask why?

Did you have one before and liked the brakes for the feel and stopping power? I have read somewhere where someone installed Z06 calipers on the front. They looked amazing in red, minus the words Corvette on them. The LS400 and the TT are the best bang for the buck and direct bolt ons.. I have also wondered if the new Tundra brakes are the same for the upgrade? They appear to be close in appearance but have never measured the specs of them and so on..

I can say that having owned 5 evo 8-9's that the brakes on that car are a bit over rated and the tt brakes on my supra were better in every way so other than the fact that they say brembo and are red I see to reason to go through with all the effort to do this.

Yes sir they are. I just installed mine and love them so far. No highway sudden stops as of yet, but around town, I love them and don't fade at all.

I just bought some used LS400 calipers, some new slotted rotors and pads, then went to put them on, when I realized the rims I choose have clearance issues.

I can't remember where I saw the link, but I believe there was a list of Wheels that fit the front LS400 brake upgrade. Anyway I'm thinking of buying the BBS replicas that Varrstoen makes... I think they are the ES 1.1.1 ??? have you guys seen this work??

The easiest and best rear caliper upgrade are still those from the 93-98 Supra TT (or the identical JDM TRD rear calipers). The R&D is all there and like the Evo 8 rear calipers they are two piston.

Even without them the 95-00 LS400 front four-piston calipers or 93-98 Supra TT front four-piston calipers are a big upgrade on their own.

Also, 92-00 SC400's and 98-00 SC300's have larger factory sliding rear calipers than found on 92-97 SC300's so if upgrading the brakes in any SC400 or 98-00 SC300 the brake bias difference should be less pronounced than with the earlier SC300's.
