Default Springs or Coilovers for 2015 IS350 Fsport

Hi I have an 2015 IS 350 Fsport RWD and Im looking to build it slowly, but surely. 3 year lease. I have an intake and a lip already and I plan to lower the car next. Im looking to improve handling and lower the car for looks, but not slam. I just want to lessen the gap. I want a smooth ride, not bouncy but I also dont want to drop too much money. What do you guys recommend I do coilovers or springs and which brands specifically. thanks

If you don't like the reverse rake that is designed into the car springs will not fix this. Coils will give you an even drop but are much more $$. I went with springs on mine(AWD) and I'm quite happy

What is the reverse rake?. And do you have a bouncy ride at all and how low did it drop and are those same springs available for RWD?

The reverse rake is how the front of the car is higher than the rear of the car.

Question regarding the "reverse rake" look on IS. I have an 2016 IS 350 and just put 19" wheels on. I feel the gaps in the wheel well is more noticeable now. Looks like RS*R downs try to counter this with about a 1/2" variance between front and back. I wonder if anyone can confirm they are seeing about a 1/2" drop in the rear and about a 1" drop in the front.

Oh thank you. Also, why do they manufacture it like that? For looks or for other reasons?

Now that I know what the reverse rake is, no I do not mind it at all, would just like to lower the car for looks and still have the ride comfort. Do i need to get shocks with springs. And which springs did you get.

I have RSR springs on my AWD and the advertised drop that RSR claims is exactly what I got. -1.2 in front and -.8 in back which like you stated about 1/2" different front to back

Thanks for sharing. I thought I had read a thread that some guys used the half downs in the rear and the super in the front to get a bigger drop in the front. If you've posted pics could you send a link to that thread.
