Anyone on rsr downs or swift having issues?

Hi guys! I'm new to the forum and I want to start off by saying that I'm impressed with the forum lots of useful information!

Ok let's talk business. So just a few months back I got my first lexus, and now I'm ready to do my first modification. I was planning on lowering on rsr downs or swift springs but, while searching on the forums I came across people complaining about blown end links after lowering. I just wanted to know if you guys have or had any issues after lowering (besides too many compliments) because I was about to pull the trigger but I don't want to end up shooting my self in the foot. Oh! And if you guys could recommend one between rsrdowns and swift spring, which one would it be? I would greatly appreciated!

None of my customers have had issues after lowering their cars. They both use Swift and RSR.

Let me know if I can help ship you the RSR or Swift!

When you go with 2in drop springs (or more) on stock struts you will have premature wear on the struts and some components. How much premature wear can be subjective. If the stock struts are pretty expensive I'd just poney up the money up front and get coilovers, or go with a mild drop spring of 1inch or less.

So I should be good with swift springs since they only drop 1.1"?

I just received a set of RSR Down for my IS250. I love the way the car handle . Shops telling me I should buy the entire set up and not just lowering springs . So my question is how bouncey will the car be after its lower or should you guys recommend just getting 19 inch wheels and not lower . Thanks !!

That's really up to you. Like I said how much wear is hard to say, and some people are willing to give up more for the looks and price point. My last ride I had 2in drop springs. Within six months I purchased coilovers. IMO if you want to go lower quality coilovers are the way to go. I'm considering RSR Half downs or Tein H tech (what ever their mild drop shocks are). I'd love to have a set of J5s on my fsport, but I can't justify 2 gs on coilovers just to keep my +S setting.
