Default Squeakty-squeak-squeakitin noises from my new to me GS300

Hey gang, new here. I tried searching but was not able to find information that would help me.

So I recently purchased a 98 GS300 - the previous owner lowered the car using I coil overs (no idea the brand - probably cheapies) and its riding on 18's. The car squeaks like in riding an ironing board down the road. I tried to spray lithium grease on some of the joints and bushings etc, but still squeaking like I kidnapped a tree full of squirrels :/

Any easy fix ideas on this one? I have limited access to tools and time, so any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Cause you didnt really try searching....

impossible to help you if you cant isolate a area or time it squeaks... where is it coming from, does it always do it when _____ happens

please dont make new threads, start here and actually read then try searching

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...iy-thread.html

rear could be the rear knuckle, rear axle carrier bushing, RUCA, shocks, subframe bushings and a few other things, front can be many more things so please help yourself and try and isolate it down to a certain area/place on the car

Replace all the ball joints and bushings that you know haven't been done recently. They're all gonna fail sooner (probably) or later. Ask me how I know.

Pretty sure its coming from the rear. I can stand outside and lightly push on the back end and it squeaks like crazy.

I just bought the car recently so I don't know what was changed out besides it being on Megan coilovers. Someone local said they had a fix which is push out the bushings and inject lithium grease in it.

Is that good or bad or will it even make a difference?

Thanks for the assist gents.

Lower knuckle bushing/bearing. I just replaced mine with the Figs replacement. Exact same noise that I HAD!!!

I also bought the install tool that they mention in the instructions.

You can buy others cheaper. I was impressed with the Figs part.

you dont know that, your assuming.... the Megans were notorious for their lower mount bushing squaking very similar to the rear knuckle bushing. i posted a link to that ages ago and the fixed part (made by FIGs of course) just not gonna go search for it atm

I too have the same squeaking and creaking coming from both sides in the rear. It squeaks when the road is uneven.

Please check your tail light tightness... If they are loose they will squeal LOUDLY when pressed on. Just a thought to those out of ideas. They'll squeak when driving

It's just an idea, if you're trying to locate a squeaky sound. I thought mine was my rear suspension but it turned out to be a loose taillight. It may or may not be your problem, I'm just sayin'
