Default Installed F-Sport Shocks

our 06 IS350 Sport Package with 62.5k miles had a leaking shock on the drivers rear. Dealer wanted $700 to fix LOL. So instead I could buy the entire set of F Sport shocks for that much and install it myself. Install was straight forward, car was easy to take apart, no major issues. The ride quality now is WAY better than what it was stock. Stock felt somewhat bouncy and underdamped. Now its firm and smoother but not harsh. Doesnt feel so crunchy going over bumps. The ride quality now feels more like our 14 IS350 F Sport. Not quite but getting there. The 06 IS needs new tires also so should get smoother with those. Highly recommended mod if you want to refresh that OEM suspension

Jeesus, 20k post count LOL.

If you don't mind me asking, Where did you get the F sport suspension from and how much was it?
Did you also get F sport springs?

I have the sport package as well, to my understanding the sports package is slightly lower than the OEM suspension. How does the F sport compare in terms of ride height?

Sport package is approximately 1/2 an inch lower in ride height compared to stock suspension.

F-Sport suspension lowers the car close to a full inch compared to stock suspension (I don't have the exact mm for the front and rear as I'm currently on mobile but I think it's 18mm front and 22mm rear).

I bought the shocks on ebay but its cheaper here. Shows ~$670 shipped. I am still using the OEM Sport Package springs. The 06 is more of our errand/beater car now.

the parts you want are:
PTR13-53093 - Front Left
PTR13-53094 - Front Right
PTR13-53095 x2 - Rear

Would you happen to have a before + after pic of the height of the car?

I've got an 07 is250 AWD
I'm wondering the same thing. Not sure if it would be better to get new shocks and springs all around or some coilovers. Looking at Ksport but not sure about the longevity.

You need to change the springs. If you choose the F-Sport springs you will not go lower.

Um, yes you will. FSport springs provide a ride height drop as compared to OEM springs, a modest one, but a drop none the less.
