Difference between front springs, MKIV vs SC
Hi,
I am planning on getting KYB AGX struts with Eibach Sportline springs. I have been told to buy the AGX struts for the Supra and front Eibach springs for the SC and rear Eibach springs for the Supra. Question is... if the front springs/struts are the same between both cars, why does it matter what front springs I use? Is there a real difference or is it cheaper somehow? Apologies if this has been asked before, but I keep seeing conflicting reports. Thanks |

I had Supra Eibach springs on Bilsteins all around. From what I remember, the Supra springs will drop the car a tad lower than the SC springs all around, not just the front. If it were me doing it all over again I would still go with Supra springs, it was a perfect stance in my opinion. They were on my 92 in the sig pic. Checkout my old build thread and there's a ton of pictures.

I don't know why anyone would tell you to mix and match the springs and shocks. It is usually always advised to match the Supra springs with Supra shocks.
I can't remember if it's the front or the rear, but one of the supra springs has a smaller diameter, so it actually lifts the car up if you try to put it on a SC shock. |
