Just replaced my OEM Sport package Struts with KONI FSD. The car handle so much better now;i wouldn't say it is smoother but definitely less bouncy and firm but "comfortable". The OEM struts had about 125k miles on them.
I think you might want to look into coilovers if you want something smooth.

Tein H-Techs with shock of your choosing. They're designed for "comfort" over performance. Had them on my DD '95 Honda Civic for 3yrs and enjoyed the pillow-like comfort of my suspension.

so is it the springs themselves that cause harsh ride,
for example, I could just swap in Tein H-Techs springs w/ stock Sport Package shocks and get better ride?

No aftermarket spring will give you a comfier ride than stock. Do not buy any sort of aftermarket spring if you want comfort. You will have find a non sport is350 suspension set either used or new.

It's both the shock and spring that gives it a harsh ride but mostly the shock. My integra has adjustable shocks, the difference in harshness is night and day depending on how the shock is adjusted.

Are you running these struts with stock springs?

I have OEM non sport suspension and its comfy for a daily driver. No one has ever complained that the ride is too harsh. At 67k now I'm considering koni fsd setup on stock springs. But keep in mind that your tire setup has a lot to do with ride. Consider tires with softer sidewalls. OEM bridgestones are very stiff.

Cheapest solution is replace (likely) worn tires with comfort-oriented all-season tires.

Same thing for me, I am considering KYB struts with stock springs.

Guys how can I know if my 2007 IS350 is equipped with sport package?

Sport package has the silverish (not wood) dash and console treatment, plus sport pedals. No electric rear sun shade too.

Thanks,

Then mine isn't sport. Currently at 110 miles, front left + rear right struts are leaking, ride feels am on springs only
