other than shocks, what else to make it ride "newer" again?

1995 sc300, 5spd. car has 125k on the clock. bone stock. want it to stay that way.

since it is still going go be around awhile, i'd like to make it ride/drive "newer" again... since the shocks are the originals, i have a pretty good idea that those need to be replaced...

what else (such as bushings, etc.) would be worth doing at this time? i've searched, but i mainly come up with performance mods, vs. "just return it to what it once was"...

also, i won't be doing the work, so if anyone can recommend a suspension shop in the cherry hill nj area, it would be appreciated.

thanks.

When I first bought my car I wanted the car to drive like it was new. I started off by changing the shocks and installed polyurethane bushings all around. Polyurethane is stiffer than OEM rubber, but the firmness is negligble if you're coming from worn stock suspension.

If I were to do it over again I would buy supra front LCA instead of wasting time installing the bushings into the factory lower control arms since new arms would have brand new bushings and ball joints.

I would also check the condition of your steering rack, inner and outer tie rods. If it isn't leaking or has torn boots, then I would recommend installing new steering rack bushings.
