Default Painted my calipers this weekend

Been loving my new 350 F-Sport, and looking for some little things to enhance it further. Decided to get the G-2 caliper paint system and paint them red. I have to say that I am really pleased with how they turned out. It took the better part of Sunday to accomplish, but I really took my time cleaning them off good, and took the rears apart in order to be able to paint them easier and more completely. 3 coats (and about 6 hours) later, they were looking really good!

Looks nice! Something I should do soon. Those are regular vinyl stickers?

Thanks! Yeah I think the stickers really make a difference. They are specifically designed for brake calipers and are supposed to be high-temperature tolerant. I used to have some on my Supra that I road raced, and never had any issues with those coming off, so I have high hopes for ones on a daily driver. You can find the stickers on Amazon and E-Bay, and they are less than $10 for a set of four. There are two large ones that I used on the fronts, and two smaller ones, but there just isn't anywhere to use them on the rears the way they are designed unfortunately.

Yeah I debated about what color to go with the decals. The black definitely doesn't show up that great, but I think I'm okay with it. They make them in silver too, but was afraid it wouldn't match the color of the car well and then would just look off. I like the purple too; bold choice!

thanks for the compliment! there were only a couple of colors I looked at because many colors don't go w/ dark grey. when I have time, I'm going to paint my lug nuts the same purple to dull down their look. the silver decal most likely wouldn't have matched your paint as there are several shades of silver.

What kind of paint did u guys use to paint the calipers? More so, where do u buy it? Mind sharing, I plan on painting my calipers as well, but unsure of which paint to use (one that will endure the heat and wont peel off). Noob on painting calipers.
