Painted my calipers this weekend

You should not need to do any kind of clearcoat on the stickers. Obviously I haven't had these on the car very long, but I did run them on my Supra which I road raced (very high temps), and never had any issue with them. I'd be very surprised if you had any problems with these as-is. I also never experienced any trouble using wheel cleaner sprays to clean them either.

Is250 calipers
The calipers on the IS250 are smaller and uglier. But I painted them anyway. Imo, the lexus decal is better for the IS250 calipers because you can cut half way through the decal between each letter and bend the decal to fit the calipers arc. I spray cleaned it, used a metal brush hooked up to a drill and basically drill brushed anywhere I can reach. Spray cleaned it again. Wipe down with a clean rag. Taping the caliper was time consuming with the is250, lots of gaps in the middle to cover. Once taping is done, the rest is a breeze. 4 coats of primer. 5 base coats of red. I let it dry over night. Placed decals next morning and now doing my clear coats(helps me sleep at night). Will probably do clear coats til the bottle is empty. 6-7 coats. Start off with 2 thin coats so it doesn't drip on the decal. Then u can start going a bit heavier on the layers.
