Personally, I haven't had very good luck with cross drilled rotors in the past as they always seem to end up cracking on me. I stick with a good quality blank these days for my DD and track cars. I'm a big fan of Centric's Premium and Cryo lines of blanks.

YMMV

I called R1 yesterday, since they don't have an ebay listing for the cross drilled & slotted they matched the price with their premium cross drilled kit on their ebay listing.

I read on other forums to go with the premium rather than eline. But price wise you can beat the eline.

I been reading about the LS400 and TT brake. For me to stay with stock wheel and tires I have to do the following:

For LS400 - I will need a spacer or buy a bigger wheels & tires setup and cut the back plate
For TT - I will have to buy a bigger wheels & tires setup (17" or baove)

I might not have enough budget to go with the above.

Thank you for your input.

Currently, I have the blank rotors setup and they rust up a lot on my DD cars. After a car wash or rain, I couldn hear noises (squeaking grinding) after a few miles it goes away. Trying to go with a different setup.

I would do slotted rotors over cross drilled...

I understand you are doing stock brakes...I was just referencing what I have and that the quality of rotors is fine....r1 concepts eline are fine unless you really want to get premium rotors....

Just search for eline sc300 on eBay...you can get all 4 rotors and pads for around $200

I saw the eline on ebay. I called R1 and they price match it as $175.34 for the combo kit.. Also, I might get the stop tech braided brake lines. they quoted for $125 for both front and back lines.

Again, just keep feeding me the info. I am still undecided. but the eline price is really good.

Need HELP!!!
I got the e-line series kit installed with the stoptech braided brake line. I have cleaned the pin and lube it before I installed it back. Using the 2 man process, I bled the brakes several times already until the brake pedal stopped before the midway. Once I started the car and stepped on the brakes, it goes deep to the floor. I still have the car on a jack stand since the last time I tried to put back the tires and drove it, I got the same results.

You are not bleeding them correctly you dont stop when the brake pedal gets half way down....

You stop when no more air bubbles or air is in the lines.....all that should be coming out is brake fluid....and when you have that tighten the bleeder screw and move on to the next one...

Also if you dont keep the master cylinder full of brake fluid during the process you will be sucking in air....which is what you do not want...
